Project Role

  • Collaborated with SMEs, designed and developed e-learning.

Project Purpose

  • Blended learning (online and leader-led) that teaches end-of-life care and palliative care training.

Project Goal

  • Increase access to evidence-based palliative care education among healthcare providers working with the elderly.
  • Improve quality of palliative care provided to seniors with chronic advanced illness.
  • Improve the confidence and skills of caregivers who are providing end-of-life care for patients and family members.

Project Audience

  • Patient caregivers in long-term care and in board and care facilities
  • Home health aids

Project Deliverables

  • Three, linear e-learning courses  (60 minutes each)
    • Each course includes a comprehensive assessment
  • Leader-led training, which includes:
    • Facilitator guide
    • Participant guide
    • PowerPoint presentations
    • Assessments
    • Course survey
