Pain Management for Hospice Clinicians

Project Role

  • Collaborated with SME to write curriculum, designed and developed e-learning.

Project Purpose

  • Provide remedial training to all clinical staff who have a knowledge deficit on managing pain in patients.

Project Goals

  • Perform a pain assessment.
  • Administer and titrate medication and opioids.
  • Manage patient’s pain.

Project Audience

  • Nurses
  • Social Workers
  • Spiritual Counselors

Project Deliverables

  • Two e-learning courses (45 minutes each)
    • Pain for Multidisciplinary Clinicians
    • Pain for Nurses
  • A comprehensive assessment requiring a score of 90% or higher to pass and receive credit for participating in the training.
  •  e-learning is SCORM and LMS accessible
